Do I need prior experience to join the workshop?

Some members of the Musical Theater Writers Workshop

have had many productions of their work, others have not.
No entrance test or audition is required. |
Can I meet a collaborator?

A stimulating mix of composers, lyricists and playwrights, as

well as directors, choreographers and performers virtually
|
ensures the start of new collaboration teams.

How does MTWW work?
|
group. However, the annual Winter Frolic is a party where
members have 10 minutes to present whatever material they please (songs, skits, stand-up comedy), no critique allowed. The public is invited and food and drink are provided. In addition, after a project has passed through the workshop process, a full reading of the entire work may be arranged. |
The Musical Theater Writers Workshop is not a producing

I have written a musical based on "Pygmalion." Will you
|
produce it?
|
A 10-to-20-minute presentation of songs, scenes, scenarios
|
etc. is followed by brief comments by workshop members.
Songs may be presented live or on tape or disk, sung by the songwriters or singers. Scripts may be cast from MTWW members, or actors may be invited to read. |
