he Musical Theater Writers Workshop,

founded in 1989, provides a relaxed and
supportive atmosphere where composers,
lyricists and playwrights can hear their work
and get feedback on it. Many of the musical
comedies, operettas, operas and art and
cabaret songs developed in the workshop
have subsequently received professional
productions off- and off-off-Broadway, at
regional theaters (including the Kennedy
Center), at universities and internationally
in Europe and South America.
